Scale of Pay: Pay scale: Rs.30,000/- to 1,10,000/- and Grade Pay: Rs. 12,700/-
Age Limit: The candidates should not be less than 21 years of age and not more than 38 years of age as on 01/01/2024.
Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess any one of the following qualification/s.
(i) A candidate must be an advocate enrolled under the Advocate’s Act, 1961 who has been practising as such for at least 3 years. Or
(iii) A Chief Language Officer of the Legislative Department holding a Degree in Law and having 3 (three) year experience as such officer or with 2 (two) years experience as such officer if he has previous experience as an Advocate for at least 3 (three) years. Or
(iv) A Language Officer of the Legislative Department holding a Degree in Law and having 5 (five) years experience as such officer or 2 (two) years experience as such Language Officer if he has previous experience as an Advocate for at least 4 (four) years.
Other criteria of APSC Recruitment
Citizenship: Candidates must be Indian Citizens as defined in Articles 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India.
Residentship:
(i) The candidate must be a permanent resident of Assam.
(ii) The candidate must produce PRC issued in Assam for educational purpose/ Employment Exchange Registration certificate as proof of residency along with the application form.
SC: 5 years
ST: 5 years
OBC/MOBC: 3 years
PwBD: 10 years

Employment Exchange Registration: Candidates must be registered themselves in any of the employment exchanges of Assam.
Small Family Norms: The candidates have to submit a declaration regarding “The Small Family Norms” in Form-A at the time of applying for the post.
