According to the permission by the Director of Higher Education, Assam vide letter No. E. Comp. No. 405651/2024, dated-05-07-2024, applications in prescribed format are invited through proper channel with complete Bio-data including NOC from the concerned authority, valid E-mail Id and Contact Number and all supporting testimonials from HSLC (10 Standard Exam) onwards from intending candidates for filling up the post of Principal, F.A. Ahmed College. Garoimari, Dist. Kamrup (Assarn), PIN- 781137. Necessary qualifications, experience and norms prescribed by the latest UGC guidelines, regulations and Govt. of Assam guidelines (Govt. OM No. AHE 45/2019/2-A, dated-25/02/2019). dated-25/02/2019).
Educational Qualification Required
1. A Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed by a recognized University.
2. A Ph. D Degree in concemed/ allied relevant discipline(s) in the institution’s concerned with evidences of published works.
3. Associate Professor/Professor with a total service experience of at least 15 (fifteen) years of Teaching/Research/Administration in Universities/Colleges and other institutions of Higher Education
4. A minimum score as stipulated in the Academic Performance Indicator (API) based on Perfor- mance Based Appraisal (PBAS) as set in the UGC regulation in appendix-III for direct recruitment of Principals in Colleges.
5. A minimum of 10 Research Publications in Peer Reviewed/ UGC Approved Care listed journals (must attach self-attested valid supporting documents).
6. A minimum of 110 research score as per Appendix-II at Table-2 (UGC Guideline, dated- 18/07/2018).
7. A relaxation of 5% may be provided at Graduate and Master’s Degree Level for SC/ST/ Differently abled candidates. The eligibility marks of 55% (or an equivalent grade in a point scale) and relaxation of 5% to the categories mentioned above are permissible on qualifying marks without including any grace marks procedures.
8. A relaxation of 5% marks may be provided to the Ph. D holders who have obtained their Master’s degree prior to 19th September 1991.
9. Upper age limit of 55 Years as per prescribed Rules as on 01-01-2024.
10. The term of Principal shall be of 5 years as per the guidelines issued by the Govt.
